Christian Faustus: August -> "COOL TO BE YOU"

Christian Faustus was born somwhere in northrhine westfalia some time in1980.
As a nine year old boy, he made his first visit to the movies watching back to the future part 2. Also, because Marty McFly was the coolest ever, he started skateboarding in the same summer.
From 1989 on, there has never been anything else but skateboarding and skateable music.
With fifteen, he bought his first plastic Nikon RF-10. from that point on, he carried that camera to all punkshows and skateboard events and took pics of his skateboarding and rock n´ roll heroes - skateboarders like Salman Agah, Brain Anderson or Simon Woodstock and bands like Ten Foot Pole, Down By Law or Satanic Surfers found their way into his lense.
In 2002 Chris started gaining vocational experience absolving his first internships at professional portrait studios in Cologne.
From 2003 to 2006 he successfully completed his apprenticeship and graduated as professional photographer at the German Chamber of Crafts. Since 2006 Chris works for many different studios, magazines, bands and labels. He shot & produced exclusive press and promotional material for acts like Von Spar, Timid Tiger, Werle & Stankowski, Urlaub In Polen, Beach Fossils, or Aydo Abay. Labels such as Italic Recordings, Buback Tonträger, Haute Areal, Tom Lab and Strange Ways have been and still are his clients. a lot of magazines like
New York Times, Musikexpress, Die Zeit, Intro, Visions and a lot of different city magazines print and publish his work. Chris also shot and designed plenty of catalogue covers, album covers and tour posters. His press pictures have gained worldwide publicity at music trade shows like Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro or Frankfurt.
Currently Christian Faustus is executing a photo reportage about one of colognes finest it-clubs King Georg, photographing more than 150 shows since 2010, including bands like
Wild Nothing, 1000 Robota, Jeremy Jay,Ty Segall, Blank Dogs, Beach Fossils, Casiotone For The Painfully Alone, Last Days of April and many many  more.
